Post frame buildings are simple, but powerful. Instead of dozens of small “bones,” it stands on a few massive posts anchored firmly into the ground, with everything else built around this core support system. The posts are spaced farther apart (often 8 feet or more) and engineered to carry the full weight of the roof and walls, transferring that load directly into the ground or onto concrete piers, making it an incredibly efficient way to build.
